Sometimes a Stetson Hat and Vintage Snake Belt Does an Outfit Right

That Stetson hat was such a major find back in the day when I bought it!  I didn't wear it much and now I get so much wear out of it!  You have to have yourself a good hat that goes with everything, especially in the hot summer months of L.A. (which I love!) you like to have a little shade.  Needless to say this is that hat for me!  The snake belt is vintage AND is my favorite belt ever, and to be honest I don't really wear a lot of belts....but this one is just so good!

Hello! Happy Monday!

If I haven't told you already, I truly love myself a silky button up, and this one from Equipment will be a summer essential for me.  I just adore the pastel color that can be worn so many different ways.  I am always looking for really versatile pieces to invest in.  Unless its ridiculously outlandish and I love it. Which is usually the case.  I also have for some time now been on the hunt for statement necklaces, I can't get enough of them!  They so easily add a different look to any outfit! The bigger and the bolder the better! What are your summer essentials?

Pink, Paisley, and A Half Tuck

Ahh here we are again with the half tuck, I wasn't kidding when I said this is my summer uniform.  I like a laid back style while adding a little sophistication.  These are some of my favorite pieces in my everyday wardrobe, I am always wearing and looking for classic well fitted button ups, silky shorts and killer high heels!

Yellow Tweed with a Dash of Floral

There is nothing quite like this combination of yellow tweed and floral.   I love the different textures of the tweed, chiffon, and some beat up old wranglers.  This is quickly becoming my summer uniform in L.A. as it's getting hotter and I am finding myself buying more and more silky button ups to live in.  Tuck them in or out, or do a halfy like I did!  Also, I keep saying that I will steer away from Zara because, truly I love vintage, I have an affinity for finding that special piece that no one else has.  With that said, Zara is just so gosh darn good, sometimes I can't help myself!

Turquoise in LA

As you can see I really shot all over the place for this look, because of the lovely June gloom in L.A., lighting was not at its best! However, I have the BEST photographer in the world....and we got a couple of goodies!  These are my new Michelle Jonas shorts that are the perfect color for summer, and I couldn't wait to put together an outfit with them....floral was the perfect fit.

A Walk in the Streets

I really enjoy a good dress.  However, lately I find that my wardrobe could really use more separates....and I'm loving searching for them!  A pencil skirt and a cropped tank is really one of my favorite looks right now, and is so fresh and easy to wear.
