Nothing like a men's tuxedo shirt turned into a dress!

 You would never deny that a white shirt is an essential, but an arsenal of good white shirts may be essential as well!  You can never ever go wrong with a white shirt!   So many options, so many ways to wear it.  I found this tuxedo version when vintage shopping recently and I thought it would be the perfect dress/shirt/layering piece...you name it!  Obviously it can be worn many ways, half way unbuttoned with leather pants, or shorts, who knows maybe with a sequin mini!  Either way its a new go to for my wardrobe!!  Nothing like a men's tuxedo shirt turned dress!

Well I just don't know about you, but its pretty much my favorite day of the week today!!  Wahoo for Friday's!!

I cannot tell you awesome I think this vintage button up shirt is, and really, I wanted to wear it with nothing else but some jeans and heels.  Honestly, I've said if before and I will say it again, but my favorite pieces are most always vintage.  There is just something about that one of a kind treasure!

Cobalt Classic

Hi!  I hope you are having an awesome morning!

Today's post is seriously all about this vintage blue blazer!  I really have been so into a good blazer lately and this color really can't do wrong.  The cobalt blue color is more on the side of electric blue and honestly, I love it in its simplest form.  I wore it as a top with a simple pendant and with its 80's style shoulder pads and double breasting, the look is super chic!  I really dig the idea of being able to pair a blazer with a pair of jeans and thats all you need!

White On!

Good Morning!! Holy smokes its been a busy week!  I don't know about you, but I am so pumped it's Friday!!

This little white sweatshirt has been my new favorite piece in my wardrobe!  I am really loving white right now, and wanting to wear it head to toe in different variations.   I especially love the cut of the sweatshirt and the fabric, its really stiff and boxy and makes it feel very 50's 60's....which I love!!  Give me a mod style anything and I'm in!  I like to pair it with really modern pieces to balance the look out!

Well hello there, and good morning!!

I knew the minute I saw these Ray Ban sunnies that I pretty much had to own them!  They are Summer in a sunglass!  I received them for Christmas and I really haven't stopped wearing them since!  I wear them with everything, but my favorite way to wear them is with black or white, so they can really stand out if you know what I mean!

The most simple of outfits sometimes are the best, and all black outfit never really does me wrong.  Especially with these new sunnies and vintage denim jacket!  Although I am still on the hunt for that denim jacket for spring!

Denim on Denim

Good morning!!  I am so excited for today's pictures not just because I love denim on denim so much (because I do) but because this last weekend we were able to use the new camera! It's honestly very exciting to me but there is also a lot of learning that goes in to using a higher tech camera if you know what I mean!!  However, I am so stoked on using it, and the pictures are so much crisper!!


I have really, really been loving denim lately, especially faded denim or distressed with holes, I really can't get enough!  The jeans I'm wearing are old Diesel jeans that I pulled out of the closet and took to a tailor to make the flared leg into a straight one, and to be honest I haven't stopped wearing them since.  I mixed them with the lighter vintage denim shirt for a play on the different colors and textures!  Now denim on denim is my new favorite thing!  Currently, I am on the major hunt for the perfect denim jacket!

Color Me Yellow

I just couldn't resist this bright yellow wall in our neighborhood.  I always like to keep it interesting, if you know what I mean?  I thought it balanced my black and grey outfit out nicely!  Anyways, as it's been as if L.A. is the coldest its ever been, I've been wearing more winter wear than ever!  I also have been finding myself wearing quite a bit of black, which is just so darn good sometimes!  Today's outfit is just keepin' it casssuaalll on the streets of L.A. in heels (of course), and my favorite white pumps!

Pink's for a Day

I hope that you had such a wonderful Holiday and are excited for the new year!!
I have to say that I am now officially pining after a new camera for the new year.  I have an old point and shoot camera that is about 7 years old!!  Its very nostalgic but I have to admit, the idea of taking pictures of all kinds with result of a high quality crisp photos is becoming more and more appealing!!  Anyways, for now I love the camera we have and it gets the job done!!

This sweatshirt I can't get enough of,  someone very dear bought me this sweatshirt for Christmas and I really haven't stopped wearing it since...I love the texture and the look of the light pvc sleeves.  I have really found myself super into monochromatic looks with different textures.  It's awesome!!

Orange You Glad it's Sunny

Good Morning!!

Today's outfit is one of my favorite color combo's, light blue and orange!  Its a winning combo if I do say so myself!!  I have found that light blue as well as grey sometimes work as the best neutral.  I love orange and these shorts are a definite go to in the Summer.  However,  its been getting a little colder in L.A. and I've been so excited to wear coats, sweaters, leather, etc. and in turn I've been wearing a lot of  dark colors, leather, black, vampy colored nails, and I love it, but I truly love color!  So for today a little color!!
