Cobalt Classic

Hi!  I hope you are having an awesome morning!

Today's post is seriously all about this vintage blue blazer!  I really have been so into a good blazer lately and this color really can't do wrong.  The cobalt blue color is more on the side of electric blue and honestly, I love it in its simplest form.  I wore it as a top with a simple pendant and with its 80's style shoulder pads and double breasting, the look is super chic!  I really dig the idea of being able to pair a blazer with a pair of jeans and thats all you need!

Have a great weekend!!!

Metallic Green

Well hello there, and good morning!!

I knew the minute I saw these Ray Ban sunnies that I pretty much had to own them!  They are Summer in a sunglass!  I received them for Christmas and I really haven't stopped wearing them since!  I wear them with everything, but my favorite way to wear them is with black or white, so they can really stand out if you know what I mean!

The most simple of outfits sometimes are the best, and all black outfit never really does me wrong.  Especially with these new sunnies and vintage denim jacket!  Although I am still on the hunt for that denim jacket for spring!

Talk to you soon!

Spidey

I don't know about you, but I always can't wait for Friday!!!  I hope you're having such a fantastic week!  It's been a busy short week and by no means am I trying to rub the weather in if you don't live in Southern California, but its been wildly warm!! Shorts and tank weather,  and I tried to enjoy every bit of it!! It's suppose to rain through the weekend however, and I love that too! Best of both wardrobes!

This look is just really all about my sequin harem pants.  Not that I've never mentioned it before, but I love sequins!  Right now, I like to pair them with more masculine, or tough pieces.  I love these pants with my baggy grey sweater and my favorite vintage fur.  I also wore it with a ripped up vintage white tee and of course, my favorite piece of jewelry ever, my Jennifer Fisher spider cuff.

Hope you have an awesome weekend!

Holiday Gold

Hello and good morning!!!

I can't even believe its the holiday season already, let alone Thanksgiving next week and I couldn't be more excited about it!!  It's definitely one of my favorite holiday's if not my favorite!!  In lieu of the holiday season its time to wear as much gold as possible (even though I do this year round!)

Today's look is all about my gold skirt I seriously can't get enough of!!  If you didn't know this already, I LOVE gold so much, a major chunk of my wardrobe consists of gold, and in my opinion it works the same way black does, it goes with everything!!  I have been getting a ton a wear out of this skirt and so for this I decided to keep it simple with a super old ripped up vintage white tee and my studded booties.         Also if your wondering how I'm wearing a tee and a skirt towards the end of November its because to be honest it just really hasn't gotten cold here yet!!  Looking forward to bundling up for the cold season!!

Talk to you soon!!!

The Eagle(s) Have Landed

GOOOOOD Morning!!!

This is definitely not the last time I will be wearing this outfit.  I seriously adore this shirt, its so amazing in all its fantastic eagle-ness and western-ish style.  It makes me feel a bit like its the Marant I can't afford.  I know that I have definitely mentioned this before but I'm just a button up shirt kinda girl.  I could seriously live in them....well that and tee shirts but you get the idea!  Anyways, I'm also wearing my new Zara boots, like I said, I plan to wear them ALOT so no better time than now!!

I hope you have an awesome rest of the week!

Dino-mite

Good morning!!!

Well let me get right to it, this post is all about the shoes for me!  I just got these booties and I just adore them!! I mean I really have a thing for shoes, to be honest I think I need to take a break because I've realized as of this weekend I have no clothes.  Well.....that's a bit of an exaggeration but honestly nothing new or exciting to get inspired about.  Actually there is a thrill for me in that. Trying to put together new and exciting outfits with things I already have or maybe I just wander over to Noah Dean's closet and go to town!! You know the usual!  Anyways I probably won't stop wearing these booties til' they've disintegrated and the shirt well who doesn't love a dino?  I cherish this shirt because it makes me think of my mom!  When she was last visiting me we were at the Natural History Museum and I found this in the gift shop in the kids section and I HAD to have it.....my mom of course totally got how awesome it was!! I love her so much!! Oh and not to go on a bit of tangent here, but the shorts I'm really stoked about as well, they are old Levi's that I wasn't a fan of, and one day I took some scissors to them, gave them a new shape, made some holes and frays and now I wear them ALL the time!

Anyways, ciao for now!

Daiquiri Delight

Good Morning!!

I hope you had an amazing weekend!!

The dress in this look was actually suppose to be for my birthday but due UPS delivering my package quite a bit late,  I had to throw something together the day of and it worked out awesome!!!  However, when this dress arrived and I tried it on, I had to keep it!  The color is the most sublime daiquiri color (a mix of yellow green) and has cut outs on the side and back....perfect for summer! You really can't ever have too many great go-to dresses in your wardrobe!

Insta-Instagram!!

Happy Friday!!!

This is a very exciting month for me...being that its my birthday month!!! Yippee!  We just got back from two road trips that I mentioned in my last post, and have hit the ground running!  Here is a few of my favorite pics from the week.

Top to bottom, left to right, I decided to bust out a Fall favorite for three years in the running...my Zara boots, and my summer uniform vintage cutoffs!  Next is my new vintage treasure that I picked up in Boise, Idaho which was one of our road trip destinations, and of course insisted that we see what the thrift stores had to offer! My classic Chanel that has been put away for awhile and I forgot how much I love it! My post on my paisley shirtdress that was a gift from my dear friend! Bold prints, and major color overload if there was such a thing.  Kill it Slayer killin' it as usual in his Frogskins on the way to Boise!  The wedding in Boise that was so beyond awesome and we were so happy to be a part of such a wonderful couples special day! Last but not least my uniform for the past couple of days....

Hope you have a great weekend, and don't forgot to follow me on Instagram @christa_jayne!!!

Hello! Hello!
Man oh man, such a busy week its been!  Lots of really amazing things in the works and I really can't wait to share! So stay tuned for some goodies to come!

This is absolutely my new favorite dress from the designer Single Dress....I am so loving everything about it! The fit is perfect, its got a relaxed fit with low cut, pockets and multi colored sequins to boot!  I found that any shoe or accessory looked great with this dress, but I of course ended up with a my killer stand by's (Camilla Scovgaard heels).  This is the perfect dress for any occasion..I will most definitely be wearing this dress all summer!

A Hint of Pink

Good Morning!

Today's outfit is one of my favorites for its complete simplicity.  I have been really utilizing my white pumps as of late, because they just add such a different element to the outfit (which I wrote about in my last post).  They pair with the pastel pink and the faded jeans pretty much impeccably in my book.  The pink blouse is an unexpected color for me seeing as I don't usually go for pink, but to be honest it couldn't have been a better choice.  This blouse is becoming a staple in my wardrobe. Equipment blouses don't mess around, they are made to fit perfectly!  I wear it tucked in to skirts, under a sweater, tied, tucked, untucked...you get the idea!

Have a great rest of the week!

Neon Slasher and Snakeskin

Some of my favorite outfits in the summer are super casual outfits with a pair of really killer heels.  These snakeskin numbers are really proving to be that shoe for me.  As I mentioned in my previous post they were an early birthday present to myself, and I'm already wearing them like wild!  Sometimes dressing can be so easy by just throwing on a really great pair of shoes and keeping the rest laid back.  My neon Slasher is definitely one of my favorite tanks and has summer written all over it, so naturally it was my go to for this outfit!  It is literally ridiculous to see how many tees and tanks I have in my closet but thats a whole other subject!  Either way, I had to end the post with my favorite little summer accessory, my neon penguin iPhone case.  It is the perfect amount of kooky fun to add to any outfit!
