Vintage Goodness in a Crisp White Shirt and Denim

Good morning!!

Well, is it any surprise that there is some kind of denim in my outfit, nor is it that its mostly vintage? Nope I don't think it is! My essentials, denim cutoff shorts and a crisp white shirt (which no one should ever be without in their wardrobe)!  I have been wearing more vintage then ever lately and I can't get enough, and why would I?  It's really just too good!  Worn in gems that you won't be able to find another exactly like…. its really pretty awesome! With this said I am getting ready to relaunch my blog and vintage store (here) within the next couple of weeks and I am SO excited!  I will be updating the store with new vintage arrivals weekly, so keep your eyes peeled on @shop_fashionorfamine on Instagram! Crop-tastic!

Hello and good morning!!

I realize that its Fall, and as much as I'm excited for all things Fall, it is still very very hot in L.A. right now!!  I am not complaining one bit....I LOVE summer!!  So with that said crop's are still going strong in my wardrobe and I think they will for awhile, I love the idea of pairing a crop with a midi skirt or long trousers for Fall, but for right now, why not pair it with my all time favorite wardrobe stable... vintage Levi's denim shorts!

Nothing Says Summer Like a Slurpy and......

Hello and good morning to you!!

Today's outfit is a legitimate testament to what I'm wearing a huge majority of the time!!  I am real easy breezy when it comes to my day to day outfits.  I love an amazing pair of shoes that standout, and a good vintage crew neck sweatshirt (if you didn't know that already....by far one of my major staples) and some kind of shorts!!

Never Met a Crew Neck Sweatshirt I Didn't Like

I mean there is nothing more to say about this post, other than the only thing I love to wear more than a crew neck sweatshirt, is my cutoffs.  I love vintage crew neck sweatshirts, and I wear them like its my job!  There is nothing fancy to them, just a good ol' crew, with raglan sleeves!!  This is a new found vintage one that will be going up for sale soon on Instagram....so stay tuned!!!

Vintage Romper Stomper

Good Morning!!

One of the things I always look for when searching for vintage is jumpsuits or rompers!  I don't think I ever met one that I didn't like!  They are the JAM!  This one is a vintage romper I found on a whim and I love it.  I am definitely on a white kick right now, everything I seem to be buying is some shade of white!  Oh, and these boots have become my everyday boots, aka, I wear them everyday with everything!

The Glads

So if you follow me on Instagram (@christa_jayne) you know that these gladiators are literally my jam and I really haven't taken them off yet!  I have been wearing these sandals like nobody's business!  To me, they are the ultimate gladiator and the minute I saw them, I knew that I would wear them to disintegration.  I think that gladiators of all sorts are the perfect sandal for this Summer!  WOO!

Oowee Marant

I really have to start out by saying, this dress was the most unexpected gift from a dear friend (who has a beyond rad blog, Deepinthehart.com, that you should definitely check out here) and honestly I LOVE it and think its just the cats meow!  Sometimes the most unexpected pieces end up being the best pieces!  This dress is a beautiful Isabel Marant, raw silk, hot pink dress that really makes you go Oooweeee! if you know what I mean! (or at least it does for me)!!

Leather and Mesh

Well hello there, and GOOD morning!!

Let me just start by saying that mesh is really doing it for me this season.  I love the texture and I love how interesting it can make such a simple shirt.  Mesh is definitely the way to go ALL the time!  I am such a huge fan of simplicity, as you may know, so I wanted to keep it simple with one of my favorite black leather skirts!
