Denim on Denim

Good morning!!  I am so excited for today's pictures not just because I love denim on denim so much (because I do) but because this last weekend we were able to use the new camera! It's honestly very exciting to me but there is also a lot of learning that goes in to using a higher tech camera if you know what I mean!!  However, I am so stoked on using it, and the pictures are so much crisper!!


I have really, really been loving denim lately, especially faded denim or distressed with holes, I really can't get enough!  The jeans I'm wearing are old Diesel jeans that I pulled out of the closet and took to a tailor to make the flared leg into a straight one, and to be honest I haven't stopped wearing them since.  I mixed them with the lighter vintage denim shirt for a play on the different colors and textures!  Now denim on denim is my new favorite thing!  Currently, I am on the major hunt for the perfect denim jacket!

Lego

Hello, Hello!!

I hope your Monday is starting off great so far, and you had an awesome weekend!  

I would like to start off by saying that most people probably love to wear jeans on a regular basis (which is amazing and I love myself a good pair of jeans), but I probably have worn this gold skirt at least three different times this week!  I really don't joke around about the fact that I love gold.   The part I love most about this skirt though, is its ruffle detail that to some may seem a bit 80's, but to me it seems very modern, and it adds a sense of volume and shape to the skirt that is awesome!   One last thing, I cannot even begin to tell you how much I adore this Lego clutch.  There is not much more to say about it other than, its a LEGO clutch!  With this said, to me, sometimes its really the accessories that make an outfit!

Summer Black

Hello, Hello!!

As you can see, my new fav for summer has clearly become my laser aviators.  Not only are they super cool, but I also really can't get over how much I love the name of them as well!  They are just such a rad accessory and I recommend them to anyone who is looking to have a bit of fun with their wardrobe!

I haven't worn all black in quite awhile, as I really LOVE color and bold prints, but never underestimate the amazingness of an all black outfit, especially with the right accessories!  So there you have it!

Laser and Lime

Good Morning!!

Not only am I super excited that its birthday month, but now its my birthday week!! Yippee! Yippee!  Of course I've been looking for a great birthday outfit and have been finding everything but a birthday outfit to buy!  Isn't that just the way it goes?

So one of those new finds is this gem of a shirt I found on our road trip to Idaho...and boy oh boy is it a treasure.  I love the lime color with the soft blue and paisley design.  I think this lime color might be my new favorite color of the moment.  In addition to the shirt, I came across these new laser aviators and I have definitely not stopped wearing them since....so perfect for summer!

Anyways..... Happy Birthday to all my fellow Leo's!

Insta-Instagram!!

Happy Friday!!!

This is a very exciting month for me...being that its my birthday month!!! Yippee!  We just got back from two road trips that I mentioned in my last post, and have hit the ground running!  Here is a few of my favorite pics from the week.

Top to bottom, left to right, I decided to bust out a Fall favorite for three years in the running...my Zara boots, and my summer uniform vintage cutoffs!  Next is my new vintage treasure that I picked up in Boise, Idaho which was one of our road trip destinations, and of course insisted that we see what the thrift stores had to offer! My classic Chanel that has been put away for awhile and I forgot how much I love it! My post on my paisley shirtdress that was a gift from my dear friend! Bold prints, and major color overload if there was such a thing.  Kill it Slayer killin' it as usual in his Frogskins on the way to Boise!  The wedding in Boise that was so beyond awesome and we were so happy to be a part of such a wonderful couples special day! Last but not least my uniform for the past couple of days....

Pretty Paisley

Hello there!

I have to apologize for the long overdue post, its been a busy last couple of weeks as I've been on a road trip first to Northern California for a wedding and then the next week to Idaho for another wedding...both which were beyond awesome!!  Oh, and I of course couldn't resist the urge to do a little vintage shopping along the way, which I will later show all those goodies!

Speaking of goodies, this amazing vintage paisley treasure, was a gift from my dear friend Zack(whose blog you should definitely check out)!  He knows how much I seriously love paisley and saw this killer number and brought it back from his travels...I LOVE it! Oversized, silky and paisley....whats not to love?

Easy Sequins

Hello! Hello!
Man oh man, such a busy week its been!  Lots of really amazing things in the works and I really can't wait to share! So stay tuned for some goodies to come!

This is absolutely my new favorite dress from the designer Single Dress....I am so loving everything about it! The fit is perfect, its got a relaxed fit with low cut, pockets and multi colored sequins to boot!  I found that any shoe or accessory looked great with this dress, but I of course ended up with a my killer stand by's (Camilla Scovgaard heels).  This is the perfect dress for any occasion..I will most definitely be wearing this dress all summer!

A Hint of Pink

Good Morning!

Today's outfit is one of my favorites for its complete simplicity.  I have been really utilizing my white pumps as of late, because they just add such a different element to the outfit (which I wrote about in my last post).  They pair with the pastel pink and the faded jeans pretty much impeccably in my book.  The pink blouse is an unexpected color for me seeing as I don't usually go for pink, but to be honest it couldn't have been a better choice.  This blouse is becoming a staple in my wardrobe. Equipment blouses don't mess around, they are made to fit perfectly!  I wear it tucked in to skirts, under a sweater, tied, tucked, untucked...you get the idea!

Gold and Paisley with a Dash of Neon

After a quick filming of a small fashion film that I was so excited to be a part of,  I did a little photo shoot of my outfit for the day!  We really just had fun with all the amazing areas to shoot, and the Biggie wall was no exception! It was too good!
