Nothing like a men's tuxedo shirt turned into a dress!

You would never deny that a white shirt is an essential, but an arsenal of good white shirts may be essential as well!  You can never ever go wrong with a white shirt!   So many options, so many ways to wear it.  I found this tuxedo version when vintage shopping recently and I thought it would be the perfect dress/shirt/layering piece...you name it!  Obviously it can be worn many ways, half way unbuttoned with leather pants, or shorts, who knows maybe with a sequin mini!  Either way its a new go to for my wardrobe!!  Nothing like a men's tuxedo shirt turned dress!

Have a super awesome day!

Denim on Denim

Good morning!!  I am so excited for today's pictures not just because I love denim on denim so much (because I do) but because this last weekend we were able to use the new camera! It's honestly very exciting to me but there is also a lot of learning that goes in to using a higher tech camera if you know what I mean!!  However, I am so stoked on using it, and the pictures are so much crisper!!

I have really, really been loving denim lately, especially faded denim or distressed with holes, I really can't get enough!  The jeans I'm wearing are old Diesel jeans that I pulled out of the closet and took to a tailor to make the flared leg into a straight one, and to be honest I haven't stopped wearing them since.  I mixed them with the lighter vintage denim shirt for a play on the different colors and textures!  Now denim on denim is my new favorite thing!  Currently, I am on the major hunt for the perfect denim jacket!

I hope you have an awesome rest of your week!

Pretty Paisley

Hello there!

I have to apologize for the long overdue post, its been a busy last couple of weeks as I've been on a road trip first to Northern California for a wedding and then the next week to Idaho for another wedding...both which were beyond awesome!!  Oh, and I of course couldn't resist the urge to do a little vintage shopping along the way, which I will later show all those goodies!

Speaking of goodies, this amazing vintage paisley treasure, was a gift from my dear friend Zack(whose blog you should definitely check out)!  He knows how much I seriously love paisley and saw this killer number and brought it back from his travels...I LOVE it! Oversized, silky and paisley....whats not to love?

Hope you're having a great week!

Neon Slasher and Snakeskin

Some of my favorite outfits in the summer are super casual outfits with a pair of really killer heels.  These snakeskin numbers are really proving to be that shoe for me.  As I mentioned in my previous post they were an early birthday present to myself, and I'm already wearing them like wild!  Sometimes dressing can be so easy by just throwing on a really great pair of shoes and keeping the rest laid back.  My neon Slasher is definitely one of my favorite tanks and has summer written all over it, so naturally it was my go to for this outfit!  It is literally ridiculous to see how many tees and tanks I have in my closet but thats a whole other subject!  Either way, I had to end the post with my favorite little summer accessory, my neon penguin iPhone case.  It is the perfect amount of kooky fun to add to any outfit!

Instagram It Up

This is a few of my Instagram's from over the last week...from top to bottom and left to right.  Of course where else to celebrate the Fourth of July but Venice Beach with your American flag and definitely don't forget the radio for the beach!  Most of all you have to have your Fourth of July fit on!

Next is my favorite T Rex shirt with my Givenchy necklace, a vintage dress just right for summer, some beautiful calla lilies, and a casual friday outfit shot.

So there you have it! Enjoy the weekend, andddd FOLLOW me on Instagram!

My Little Vintage Dress

This is my new vintage dress that KillitSlayer saw a mile away on a recent thrift store hunt, and obviously was a done deal as soon as I tried that sucker on!  It's just a really easy beachy dress that I will probably wear a lot with flats this summer.  My real favorite with this outfit is the shoes.  These are my new shoes that I bought myself for my birthday which is a month away mind you, but I'm very particular and if I find that special thing I know that I've got to buy it right away!  Anyways I hope you had an awesome Fourth of July!
